Carolyn Louise (Pride) Brown

Carolyn Louise Brown, age 81, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on 18 February 2026.

Carolyn Brown was born to Willie and Lethel Pride January 31,1945 in Little Rock Arkansas.She was the oldest of ten siblings, Shirley Turner(Lenzo died 2022), Willie Jean Chestnut (James died 2016), Willie James Pride (died 1968), Billy Pride, Lorrell Platter (2025), John Pride deceased 2021 (Tova Ellison), Ethel Ware, Linda Fondren (Kelvin), Patricia Culverson (Donald Sr). She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

She married Robert N Brown JR in 1965 and had 4 sons Robert N Brown III (Sandra Brown), Delven L Brown, Tirrell D Brown (Antoinette Brown
deceased 2007) and Terry Brown. Then she adopted Brittil Bone. Her grandkids are Tirrell (Tee) D. Brown II, Bradley R Brown, Alexis Brown,
Tearyn Brown, Aleshia Morrow and Calil Smith, Averi Morrow Jr. She has one great-grandson Hooper Dwayne Brown.

In Alaska she worked on the Alaskan pipeline then she worked for Simplot in North Dakota. When we moved to Arkansas she worked at Walmart and
then for Head Start until she retired. She was a Sunday school teacher and Youth Director at New Hope Baptist Church in Little Rock. She received
her associates degree in Early Childhood Education.
