Daphne Robinson McCoy, entered life as a Diva on October 15,1966, in Pankey Addition, AR. She was the 2nd daughter and the 4th child to the late Barbara Piggee Robinson and the daughter of the late Harold Gilbert.
Daphne Robinson McCoy confessed her life in Christ at an early age at Marks Chapel United Methodist Church. She later became a faithful member of Paradise Baptist Church.
Daphne Robinson McCoy graduated from Parkview Magnet in 1985 and went on to play basketball at Philander Smith College. She then used her fearless traits and pursued a career in law enforcement.
Daphne Robinson McCoy lived an outgoing life of fun and cheer with a personality bigger than the world. She enjoyed sports, riding horses, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Daphne was preceded in death by her Grandparents Harry and Alice (Russ) Piggee; her parents Barbara Piggee Robinson and Harold Gilbert; her brother Dwight Nelson.
Left to cherish her fondest memories are her children Victoria Champale McCoy, Kourtney Liane McCoy and Vincent McCoy. Her Grandchildren (The 8K’ s) Kameron McCoy, Kuristan Anderson, Kaedyn Dunn, Kaelynn Johnson, Kenndei Johnson, Kaleb McCoy, Kaison Moore and Kaiser Moore. Great grands, Paris Anderson and Da’Kari Winfield. Her siblings; Carla Tucker (Jason), Kendall Robertson (Rachel), Joyce Williams, Mercedes Mitchell, Spencer Gilbert (Brandy), Harold Gilbert and Tasha Gilbert Clark (Justin). Also, her uncle Carl Gilbert (Patricia). Aunts; Jewel Carter, Jackie Piggee, Donna Hale (Norman), Dianna Kinsely, and sister-in-law Vivalon Nelson.
